Today begin your trek up in the mountains and through the forests. Our guide and porter will accompany you. Learn the art of scenting the wildlife or try your hand at making bow and arrows. Day 3
A chance for some yoga and meditation, then set off back down the mountains with their silvery waterfalls, to the foothills and Bird’s Lagoon Resort, 2 ½ hrs.,. Check-in and have lunch then the adventure continues with boating on the palm-fringed river and lagoons.
Day 4
A chance for some trekking in the bamboo forests then transfer to Cochin airport, 1 ½ hrs.

Day 4
Enjoy some yoga and meditation, learn the art of scenting the wildlife or perhaps making bow & arrows as you continue your adventure in the forested mountains. Overnight at the camp.
Day 5
After some yoga and meditation set off back to Munnar where your driver will be waiting to take you down the forested mountains with their cascading waterfalls and to the serene foothills and the secluded Bird’s Lagoon Resort. Early evening enjoy a cruise along the river and the palm-fringed lagoons returning to the resort to spend another evening with just the sounds of nature.

Day 1
Arrive Cochin airport and transfer to the tranquil backwaters and your resort on the lake-shore, 2 ½ hrs.. Now time to simply relax and enjoy the beauty and perhaps a stroll through the villages.
Day 2
Today set off up the green mountains and to the spice town of Thekkady, 4 hrs. Check in to your resort near the main town and in the afternoon visit Tusker Trail where you can feed the beautiful Meera and ride her through the forests.
Day 3
Today set off very early for a jeep safari and trek in the wildlife sanctuary, going through the tea-estates and thick jungle. Breakfast, lunch and tea will be provided, returning to Thekkady in the early evening.
Day 4
The adventure continues with a trek through the forests and then a bamboo raft cruise on the lake right in the heart of the wildlife sanctuary, returning to the resort in the early evening.
Day 5
After breakfast, set off back down the mountains to the foothills and the secluded Bird’s Lagoon Resort, 4 ½ hrs.. In the late afternoon enjoy a cruise on the palm-fringed lagoons and river, savouring the great beauty and tranquillity returning to Bird’s Lagoon for an evening with just the sounds of nature.

Day 1

Day 2
This morning set off to the tranquil backwaters, 3 ½ hrs where your exclusive houseboat will be waiting for you to embark on an enchanting cruise along the palm-fringed waterways and lake. Your crew will prepare all your meals freshly onboard as you slip gently along. The night is spent at anchor with the gently lapping water.
Day 3
After breakfast onboard set off up the green mountains to the spice town of Thekkady home also to the Periyaar wildlife sanctuary, 4 hrs.. Visit the scented plantations accompanied by our local guide who will reveal the spicy secrets, then to Tusker Trail. Here you can feed the majestic beauty, Meera, and ride her through the forest and perhaps sit on her knee for a chat !
Day 4

Continue your trek across the valleys and the forested mountains, learn the art of scenting the wildlife and surely some yoga and meditation in the evening. Spend the night again at the camp.
Day 8
After breakfast, set off back to Munnar where your driver will be waiting to take you down the mountains to the foothills and the secluded Bird’s Lagoon Resort, 2 ½ hrs..
